To optimize operations, governments and facilities of all types need real-time access to critical information. Machines and equipment can be monitored for performance to prevent down time and to predict future maintenance needs.

Sensors can be used to monitor a wide variety of applications — such as chemical detection, temperature, vibration, power, and flow — and report data on a real-time basis to allow for preventative maintenance, before a breakdown occurs.

Distance Support for Ready Response Center (RRC)

The United States Navy is constantly challenged by the logistics associated with maintaining and repairing the numerous mechanical systems on board ships. The PIR2 custom solution designed by 3eTI utilized the Navy’s vast historical data regarding equipment and component failures to help predict future problems, enabling ships to stock the proper parts on board in the event of a break-down.

Automated Maintenance Environment (AME)

Communication on-board ship is essential to sailors performing thousands of tasks associated with ship operations. 3eTI designed a shipboard wireless local area network (WLAN) that allowed the installation of sensors on critical equipments to report status in real-time as well as allow for sailors to send data over a wireless network, versus manually carrying data from about the ship to the chief engineering office or to the Integrated Condition Assessment System (ICAS).
