Common Criteria
Common Criteria (CC) is an international standard (ISO / IEC 15408) for computer security. It describes a framework in which computer system users can specify their security requirements; vendors can then implement and make claims about the security attributes of their products, and testing laboratories can evaluate the products to determine if they actually meet the claims. In other words, Common Criteria provides assurance that the process of specification, implementation and evaluation of a computer security product has been conducted in a rigorous and standard manner.

In November 2006, 3eTI became the first wireless supplier to have a wireless LAN access point and client software receive National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) Evaluation Assurance Level 2 Common Criteria Validation. The 3eTI AirGuard 3e-010F-C-2 and 3e-010F-A-2 secure client software and 3e-525A-3 wireless access point are covered by NIAP reports CCEVS-VR-06-0044 and CCEVS-VR-06-0045, respectively.
