Account Manager - Federal Sales

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals as agreed on with senior management.
  • Provide yearly strategic plans and quarterly tactical plans to meet sales goals.
  • Develop new and ongoing business relationships with federal government and related markets.
  • Identify, qualify, track and develop sales leads and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing account profiles and history.
  • Effectively communicate all relevant information both internally and externally as required.
  • Establish awareness of the internal and external political climate as it impacts accounts and establish and develop critical relationships accordingly.
  • Evaluate the state of the competition and define appropriate strategies to offset competitive strengths.

Software Engineer (8006)

3eTI currently has an opportunity for a Software Engineer in our Rockville, Maryland office.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement embedded software for a loosely formed wireless network including sensor network.
  • Develop/modify driver code.
  • Conform to processes and standards.
  • Maintain existing products.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE/BSCE, 7+ years experience with an emphasis in networking SW for platforms in Linux/Unix.
  • Systems design and implementation experience and excellent C and C++ skills are required.
  • In depth knowledge of TCP/IP.
  • In depth knowledge of IP stack with emphasis towards wireless link Layer.
  • Excellent design and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work at Linux Kernel Level
  • Able to debug low level SW, ability to characterize and optimize high performance networking SW and engineer system for high reliability.
  • The ability to produce well-documented design and code.
  • Knowledge of 802.11 Wireless Technology and networking protocols / stack.
  • Strong background and ability to write and port device driver code is a plus..

Software Engineer (8008)

3eTI currently has an opportunity for a Software Engineer in our Rockville, Maryland office.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Java-based middleware for a spectrum management system and for a loosely formed sensor network
  • Design, develop, and implement an intuitive, MVC-based GUI for a next generation wireless and spectrum management system
  • Design and implement a Java/Swing/ESB middleware system for integrating sensors and collecting data for Naval vessel boarding inspection systems
  • Re-architect, develop, and implement an integrated ESRI ArcIMS-based web GUI for a sensor network
  • Design and implement creative technical solutions to address cutting edge DOD issues.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE/BSCE 4+ years experience with an emphasis in networking SW for platforms in Windows and/or Linux/Unix.
  • Systems design and implementation experience and excellent Java skills are required.
  • In depth knowledge of XML technologies such as DTD, Schemas, XSLT, XPATH and their use in messaging and document conversion.
  • In depth knowledge of System Architecture, J2EE and IP internetworking protocols.
  • In depth knowledge of IP internetworking protocols and industrial standard middleware interfaces such as SNMP, SOAP, WFS/SOS, and JMX.
  • Excellent design and debugging skills as well as strong XML, web-based distributed programming experience is a must.
  • Experienced with MVC framework and supporting implementations (e.g. Struts or Spring), as well as J2EE-based web application technologies and design patterns (e.g. JSP’s, Servlets, JavaBeans, taglibs, HTML, stylesheets, etc.)
  • Familiar with rich web application technologies, such JavaScript/DHTML, Ajax, Flex, etc.
  • Experienced with middleware-based concepts and technologies, including Mule/ESB, J2EE, Spring, Maven, and WFS/SOS.
  • Proven track record in complete SW development life-cycle, functioning at the system level.
  • Experienced with database queries (SQL), ORM (e.g. Hibernate or TopLink), and one or more RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, MySQL)
  • Able to debug low level SW, ability to characterize and optimize high performance networking SW and engineer system for high reliability.
  • The ability to produce well-documented code
  • Strong background and ability to write and port device driver code is a plus.
  • You should be familiar with hardware interfaces, development platforms and have a working knowledge of standard debug tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver superior products under aggressive schedules.
  • You must be a self-starter and capable of working under minimal supervision.

Senior Systems Engineer (8005)

3eTI currently has an opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer in our Rockville, Maryland office.

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for providing product architecture and technical direction and generating hardware and software requirements. Participate in proposal writing and in providing system solutions.

Qualifications:

  • BSEE, BSCS degree plus a minimum of 10+ years of experience in systems engineering for wireless oriented systems.
  • This person should be knowledgeable in both hardware and software including DSP software.
  • Must be able to architect a system from a concept.
  • Should have experience in performing throughput analysis.
  • Participate in proposal writing.
  • Be able to generate software and hardware requirements.
  • Knowledge and working experience with real-time embedded systems in a network enterprise systems.
  • Mesh networking experience and embedded Linux is desirable.
  • Must have a working knowledge of WLAN and RF systems and design.
  • Must have practical experience and a full understanding of the product lifecycle process.
  • A working knowledge of project estimation, reporting, and tracking are required.
  • Must be a US citizen able to work on sensitive technology.
  • This position will likely require a government security clearance in the future.
  • Must have above average verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Background desired:

  • Knowledge of 802.11 Wireless Technology and networking protocols / stack.
  • Knowledge of GPS/GIS systems (particularly the ESRI family).
  • Experience with Sensor Networks, Condition Based Monitoring, Diagnostics/Prognostics is desirable.

Systems Engineer (Entry Level)

3eTI has an opening for a an entry level Systems Engineer in Rockville, Maryland office.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to configure, test, install and troubleshoot 802.11 a/b/g wireless devices and other commercial network devices
  • Ability to help design, document and oversee the installation of large scale wireless networks and supporting infrastructure
  • Help conduct and document detailed wireless site surveys
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and outages in a wired and wireless TCP/IP network
  • Detecting/ mitigating network threats and risks
  • Supporting the creation of documentation for networks as they evolve and change.

Qualifications:

  • CWNA certification a plus
  • Experience troubleshooting wireless systems and supporting infrastructure
  • Experience with 802.11 and 802.3 networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Systems Engineer (Dahlgren)

3eTI currently has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer in our Dahlgren, Virginia office.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day server administration in a Windows active directory domain
  • Network support in an enterprise Cisco switched environment
  • Network support of 802.11 a/b/g wireless environment
  • Monitoring network health using HP Open View and AirDefense IDS
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and outages in a wired and wireless TCP/IP network
  • Detecting mitigating network threats and risks
  • End user desktop support
  • Creating documentation for the network as it evolves and changes

Required Background:

  • MSCE Certification in Windows 2000 or Windows 2003
  • CCNA certification or equivalent experience with supporting Cisco 2950 series and 3550 series managed switches
  • Experience with using and configuring HP Open View
  • Experience with supporting wireless infrastructure, including intrusion detection systems
  • Experience with AirDefense IDS would be a plus
  • Excellend written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outside in a bucket truck
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
