Question:  Why won’t the 3e-030 Security Software work after having installed the Windows 2000 Certificate Services?

Answer:  The IIS must be installed before the Windows 2000 Certificate Services. Remove the Certificate Services and then re-install.

If you have previously used authentication services, check the Add/Remove Windows Components window to see if the Internet Authentication Server and the Routing and Remote Access functions are installed. If they are installed, uninstall them and then re-install the Certificate Services. This will prevent conflicts from prior installations.
