Question:  Where is the log file located?

Answer:  On the handheld, the csslog.txt is located in the root directory. This log contains the last events logged by the Crypto Client. The maximum size of the file is 50KB.

Question:  Why doesn’t the encryption configure on my Toshiba e740/e755?

Answer:  For the Toshiba e740/e755 with internal wireless support, the internal wireless support will need to be disabled in order to configure encryption. Disable the internal wireless support by switching it off, using the switch on the bottom of the handheld.

Question:  Why are there problems accepting the drivers on my Windows XP Pocket PC?

Answer:  If there is a problem getting the Pocket PC to accept the cssdriver.dll, do a soft reboot of the Pocket PC and try again. If this does not fix the problem completely uninstall the Crypto Client from both the hand-held and the laptop, do a soft reboot of the Pocket PC, and the install the software from the beginning.

Question:  Why doesn’t the card associate after removing and re-inserting the card?

Answer:  Remove the CF card, soft reset the PDA, and then reinsert the CF card.

Question:  Why does the user interface freeze after periods of inactivity?

Answer:  If this happens close the user interface and restart it by tapping on the PC card icon.

Question: Why doesn’t the tab key work correctly on the configuration page?

Answer:  When configuring the handheld the user will have to explicitly select the edit box.

Question: Why can’t I copy and paste the static encryption keys?

Answer:  The keys will begin to work if the static encryption keys are copied and pasted twice.
